Mr Shifter offers an affordable and efficient Man and Van, Removals and House Clearance solution. Our vehicles are well maintained and modern - ready for your UK and European removal needs.

Our friendly and reliable staff have years of experience in the Man and Van, Removals and House Clearance sector and are experts in moving your furniture and fragile items safely and securely. All staff are fully comp insured.

As an environmentally friendly company, we recycle as much as possible. We also support two charities that are very close to our hearts - the Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Hampton, Middlesex and the Princess Alice Hospice Trust in Kingston, Surrey; we regularly donate anything that is left by our customers. Whilst using our services, if you have any donations of good quality furniture this will go to the Princess Alice; any bric-a-brac, clothes, toys etc. will go to the Shooting Star.

Prices

Our movers are available to work on short notice and can charge by the hour or by the day to suit your needs.

Price guide for hire of long wheel base, high-top van:

Mileage: Rate of £1.40 per mile, each way.
Congestion Charge: £10 per day if in the zone.

Daily rate based on eight hour day. After this time charged per hour accordingly.

Inside the M25 we offer a standard rate by the hour, or by the day. All work undertaken by the hour is priced base to base (e.g. Richmond to Richmond). Outside the M25 work is priced by the mile, base to base. Day rates are set if inside the M25. We also provide a European removal service - this will be a tailored quote.
