Mr Shifter man and van hire offers a flexible, affordable, and efficient option for householders and businesses alike. All vehicles are well maintained, modern, reliable and fully equipped to deal with all your requirements, and will keep your goods entirely safe and secure during transit.

Our friendly and reliable staff have years of experience in the man and van sector and are experts in moving furniture and fragile items safely and securely. All our staff are comprehensively insured - in the unlikely event that anything is damaged you will be fully compensated.

Prices

Our movers are available to work on short notice and can charge by the hour or by the day to suit your needs.

Price guide for hire of long wheel base, high-top van:

Mileage: Rate of £1.40 per mile, each way.
Congestion Charge: £10 per day if in the zone.

Daily rate based on eight hour day. After this time charged per hour accordingly.

Inside the M25 we offer a standard rate by the hour, or by the day. All work undertaken by the hour is priced base to base (e.g. Richmond to Richmond). Outside the M25 work is priced by the mile, base to base. Day rates are set if inside the M25. We also provide a European removal service - this will be a tailored quote.

As a company we are environmentally friendly and always recycle as much as possible from what customers leave us to dispose of. We also support two charities that are very close to our hearts - the Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Hampton, Middlesex and the Princess Alice Hospice Trust in Kingston, Surrey; we regularly donate anything that is left to us by our customers. Whilst using our services, if you have any donations of good quality furniture this will go to the Princess Alice; any bric-a-brac, clothes, toys etc. will go to the Shooting Star.
